Flooding interrupts MFB Bloomington-Normal partner distribution

Historic flooding in Kentucky has disrupted the most basic way of life for thousands of people. The flooding has caused mudslides, closed basic businesses, and required people to leave their homes.

Midwest Food Bank Bloomington-Normal continues to respond to the disaster and look for ways to get food and supplies into the area. Typically, MFB has a monthly food distribution in Stanton, Kentucky. The flooding has interrupted that schedule and our work with local partner Servants of Our Lord Ministry.

MFB Bloomington-Normal was able to get a semi-load of Disaster Relief food boxes delivered to this area. Please join us in praying for the food pantries MFB serves in Kentucky as we continue to look for ways to respond to this natural disaster.
