MFB Georgia volunteer family celebrates Billy's birthday

People often refer to fellow volunteers at Midwest Food Bank as "family." Working together to help others creates a unique bond between people. And like any family, MFB volunteers celebrate with each other and cry with each other.

The MFB Georgia family started the year off with a birthday celebration! Faithful volunteer Billy Hargrove turned 96!

Billy is a regular during distribution days. You can find him actively loading an agency's cart, sharing wisdom during devotional time, or offering a hug or prayer.

"Billy can lead us in prayer like no other," says Karen Morton, a fellow volunteer.

"I'm going for four more years!" says Billy. "I'm so grateful to be a part of the MFB family."
