MFB Pennsylvania blessed by Lives Changed by Christ
Lives Changed by Christ, a church with 19 locations in Pennsylvania, take their name to heart. It's a testament to the service they provide. The church partners with Midwest Food Bank Pennsylvania and assists in many ways. Food distribution days at MFB require many volunteers, and some men from LCBC volunteer for every distribution.
"We're able to support the food bank by doing background jobs such as re-sorting and stacking," says Ron Sterner, one of those regular volunteers. "We also do a variety of chores that help volunteers the next day be ready to load the agencies up with all their requests."

The church also has a group that volunteers one night every month.
"I was very pleased to volunteer initially with our church, the LCBC Harrisburg campus. I feel like I am contributing and am a valued volunteer," says Barb Householder. "It's a wonderful atmosphere, and MFB Pennsylvania does a phenomenal job feeding hungry people."

"Lives Changed By Christ takes this charge outside the church and shares it with MFB and the people we serve," says Kathy Anderson-Martin, Executive Director of MFB Pennsylvania. "We are thankful to have their help in our mission to share the love of Christ."
LCBC encourages its members to find ways to serve, and MFB has been a recipient of those volunteer hours. They continue to provide opportunities like their Be Rich Initiative every November at LCBC based on 1st Timothy 6:18 - "Be rich in good deeds." Paul Householder first volunteered in 2021 as part of that initiative.
"I've been here ever since," says Paul. "They show us love, and the best thing about being here is they treat volunteers very well. If anybody wants to join us, come on over."
