Sibling volunteers bless MFB Georgia

Taking courses online allows some flexibility in one's day. How do homeschoolers Anna and Josh Nuemaier use that flexibility? By volunteering.

About a year ago, Anna and Josh began coming to volunteer at MFB Georgia. They had been looking for volunteer opportunities and MFB came highly recommended. After coming a few times, they became regulars.

"Josh and Anna have truly become a part of the MFB Georgia family," says Lina Martin, Volunteer Coordinator. "They not only work hard, but they also serve well alongside other volunteers of all ages."

The sibling team comes to serve at nearly every distribution. "I love the fast pace and liveliness of load-out," says Anna. "Everyone is so kind and caring here."

Josh plans to study mechanical engineering at Letourneau University. Anna, finishing high school, enjoys theater, dancing, painting, and drawing.

"My youth pastor recommended Midwest Food Bank as an enjoyable venue," says Josh. "My favorite aspect is easily the people. Within two months, I felt like family among the volunteers and staff."
