Frisbee Fundraising for MFB Peoria

We love it when people have fun while raising funds! The Peoria Frisbee Club hosted a disc golf event that raised $8,200 for Midwest Food Bank, Peoria. The temperatures were cold but warm hearts prevailed at the Peoria Ice Bowl on Jan. 2 at Bradley Park. A little snow and a high temperature of 32 degrees didn't stop participants from more than doubling the amount they raised last year.

"This is a great group of local people that are dedicated to giving back to their community and Midwest Food Bank has been the blessed recipient this year," says Monica Scheuer, executive director for MFB Peoria. "Their generous gift will help provide $246,000 worth of food to people in need."
