Kapu Africa partner reaching a forgotten group

The Disabled Empowerment Society of Kenya (DIESK) has been reaching out to families of disabled people in Nairobi. Food insecurity is severe for those too disabled to work. The COVID pandemic has exacerbated the situation.

DIESK carefully maps out households most at risk. Tender Mercies meals donated by Kapu Africa are given to these families. In addition, people are given information about health measures to take to avoid COVID-19.

Families are given enough Tender Mercies meals to last 3-4 days. The food is gratefully accepted with most families having nothing to eat at all. Thank you, DIESK for reaching these people.
