KAR Global hosts a "Foodless Food Drive" for MFB Inidiana
A foodless food drive? That's exactly what KAR Global (karglobal.com) did to benefit Midwest Food Bank, Indiana. Instead of collecting canned food items the company asked employees to donate financially and leverage the buying power of Midwest Food Bank.
Over $24,000 was given by KAR Global employees this fall. During the last nine years KAR has supported Midwest Food Bank and have held food drives that filled semi trailers with canned vegetables, meats and other food staples. This year and last they took a different approach. Either way their efforts change lives, one meal at a time.
KAR Global is headquartered in Carmel, Indiana and has 200 operating locations across North America and Europe. Thanks KAR Global for caring about people right here in Indiana.
