MFB Florida partners to distribute holiday meals

Partnership was the key in getting food boxes, chickens, and hams ready to give to people in need during the holidays at Midwest Food Bank Florida.

The First Assembly Cornerstone in Ft. Myers along with Toys for Tots, several businesses, and members of local Rotary clubs all played a part in making the holidays brighter for people served by MFB. The holiday boxes contained sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green beans, apple pie, cereal, crackers and snack bars, chicken, and ham. Rotarians packed the boxes and many other organizations volunteered on Dec. 19 to distribute the boxes.

Together, MFB and our community distributed 1,100 food boxes. it was a blessing to make a difference by lending a hand during the 2020 holiday season.
