MFB Peoria wins Association of Fundraising Professionals award

 The Central Illinois Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is one of 230 chapters worldwide. It encompasses a broad spectrum of professional experience and backgrounds, representing the areas of health, human services, education, religion, and the arts. It is committed to the advancement of philanthropy and ethical fundraising practices in Central Illinois. 

Each year the Central Illinois AFP Chapter honors donors, volunteers, and fundraising executives who contribute significantly to the success of the non-profit agencies they serve. This year, awards will be presented at a luncheon on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. Midwest Food Bank Peoria will be receiving the Dennis A. Steele Outstanding Philanthropic Organization award.
