MFB Haiti helping trafficking victims

"Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth."  - I John 3:18

One of the two sex trafficking ministries MFB Haiti supports uses this verse as a guide. They are OUR (Operation Underground Railroad) and Rapha House. In concert with local law enforcement, these two ministries identify trafficked children, rescue them and try to bring perpetrators to justice. OUR operates in several countries and has rescued over 2,800 victims and assisted in the arrests of over 1,500 traffickers in the last five years.

These organizations operate a number of safe houses in Haiti, where rescued children can stay. One of the homes has 120 children in residence. MFB Haiti provides Tender Mercies meals to assist the ministries in providing nutritious meals for their rescued children. The first distributions of Tender Mercies came in answer to the prayers of the OUR staff. 

"The meals are such a blessing to the children!" says an OUR Director. "One of my favorite things about this donation is seeing the older children helping unload the truck. It is a beautiful picture of working together as the body of Christ."
