Midwest Food Bank Texas Strengthens Advisory Board

At Midwest Food Bank Texas, we're committed to enhancing our services. That's why we're excited to announce a new addition to our advisory board, Mark Steffen, a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in construction and insurance.

Mark has been instrumental in growth and strategy as the Chief Financial Officer at Core Construction Group, where he played a key role in increasing annual revenue and expanding the company's presence. His prior experiences at CIGNA Healthcare and Mayo Clinic Scottsdale have shaped his considerable financial expertise.

Holding an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management and a BS in Finance from Arizona State University, Mark brings both academic and practical knowledge to our team. Originally from Michigan and having lived in Arizona for decades before moving to Texas, Mark's life experiences enrich his understanding and approach to community service.

Beyond his professional life, Mark is married to Stacey and has five children. He has actively engaged in community roles, including as a Lay Minister and Sunday School Teacher and leading discussions aimed at helping preteens at Prestonwood Baptist Church. His commitment to helping others aligns with our mission at Midwest Food Bank.

We believe Mark's expertise and values will greatly benefit our mission to alleviate hunger and food insecurity. His addition represents our ongoing commitment to the community and our goal of making long-term impacts in Texas.
