New Volunteer Coordinator at MFB Bloomington-Normal

Donna Haas knows God answers prayer. She also knows the answer can be through a text message.

After a sleepless night, Donna was praying and reading scripture seeking God's purpose in her life.

"I asked Him to please open the door if there was a better way to serve Him," says Donna. "Within eight hours, I got a text from my sister - a core MFB Normal volunteer - saying MFB was looking for a volunteer coordinator."

Donna joined the staff of MFB Normal in that position this fall. She is responsible for organizing and scheduling the nearly 10,000 volunteers that come through the doors each year.

"I think volunteers will immediately notice Donna's welcoming personality and heart for serving others," says Tara Ingham, Executive Director of MFB Normal. "Donna is a great addition to our team!"

Donna comes to MFB from Illinois Wesleyan University, where she was the administrative assistant in the Educational Studies Department and the Visit Coordinator for the Admissions Office.

"I am so humbled and blessed to be working for this faith-based organization alongside so many amazing and dedicated volunteers," she says.

Donna is married to Ray, and they have two adult sons. Join us in welcoming her to the MFB family.
