MFB Pennsylvania has patience and perseverance
Midwest Food Bank, Pennsylvania Division is excited to announce the sublease of a warehouse. Our facility, located at 2700 Commerce Drive, Middletown, PA, will begin setting up operations on October 1, 2020. We are blessed with a move-in ready facility that will enable us to begin sharing the blessings of abundance with our neighbors in PA.
The Pennsylvania Division is also set to hire an Operations Manager to help us prepare for agency distribution. This role will be integral in mapping out the new space and setting up logistics. The job has been posted to Indeed and shared on LinkedIn. We are looking forward to interviewing prospective candidates.
MFB Pennsylvania has also selected its board of directors and we are grateful and blessed for the talents they bring to our division. We welcome the following members of our board of directors: Aleta Serrano (President), Kate Hughes, John Smith, Angela Leopold, Steve Prouse, Charles "Charlie" Courtney, and Sean Connolly.
We also have been actively meeting with numerous feeding agencies in the area to introduce ourselves and our model. All are looking forward to working with us and our mission to share the love of Christ with those in need in Central PA.
With our location on the horizon and our board in place, we are ready for praising and fundraising. We will be launching our Capital Campaign in the next few weeks. How can you help? Give us a high five:
1. Pray for us as we look for a building in Central Pennsylvania.
2. Volunteer your gifts and talents to further MFB's mission.
3. Follow us on social media.
4. Connect your friends, church, or civic group to MFB.
5. Donate to support our site in Pennsylvania.
God bless you and thank you for your prayers and support.
