Rotary hosting opportunity

Midwest Food Bank Florida recently had the pleasure of hosting the meetings of two local Rotary clubs. Sunset Rotary of Cape Coral and Sunset Rotary of Fort Myers met in our facility.

The meetings started with a time of open networking. Supper followed, and then a presentation by MFB. The meeting concluded with a tour of our facility and a question and answer session.

For supper, we served Tender Mercies, MFB's packaged meal of rice, beans, soy protein and chicken-flavored seasoning (more information about Tender Mercies here). It's a low-cost, nutritious meal that tastes delicious.

These meetings were a first for MFB Florida. They were enjoyed by all.
