MFB Pennsylvania welcomes two new employees
We continue taking steps toward the opening of Midwest Food Bank Pennsylvania. We would like to introduce two more employees that are helping launch that location and populate our staff.
Janice Reinke - Agency and Volunteer Coordinator. Janice will be working with our food partners and also coordinating volunteer activities in the warehouse. Janice has experience in sales and marketing and worked for Central Pennsylvania Business Journal, Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, and PCI Insurance.
"I love the fact that MFB is a faith based organization," says Janice. "I grew up in a Christian family where faith was very important and I am fortunate to be at a place now where we can spread God's love to others."
Besides her work with MFB, Janice has been ice skating since she was 6 years old and has been an instructor for more than 30 years. She and her husband have been married 27 years and have two college-age children."
"Janice brings a wealth of experience in management and training, loves working with people, and has a spirit to serve," says Lori Renne, Executive Director of MFB Pennsylvania.
Nick Bates - Operations Manager. Nick will manage warehouse inventory and activities and plan for food distribution. He has a degree in supply chain management and previously worked for NAPA Transportation and gained a wide variety of experiences there.
"I am enjoying the ability to help people in need and meeting all the volunteers," says Nick.
When not at MFB, Nick likes to hike and have bonfires with family and friends. His parents, siblings and extended family are important to Nick and he spends as much time with them as he can.
"Nick fills an essential role in our warehouse and we know he will apply his background and education to our operations," says Lori.
MFB welcomes Janice and Nick to our staff!
