Expansion Project

It is very exciting to see the progress on the building, knowing that in the very near future, tens of thousands of pounds of food will begin flowing across the loading dock to help feed hungry people.  A wildfire burned hundreds of acres of grassland in Miami-Dade County, Florida over the weekend, producing dangerous smoke. Grant from Walmart provides truck

 Walmart has awarded Midwest Food Bank Florida an $80,000 grant to purchase a refrigerated box truck to serve those in need. Expected to arrive in January 2018, this blessing will allow MFB to expand the number of agencies served.
