Clay Shoot for Hunger

June 9th started ominously, but the skies cleared just in time for our 9th Annual Clay Shoot for Hunger fundraiser.

Nearly 200 shooters in teams of 4-5 took their best aim to reduce hunger in our communities. All of the profits went to the Peoria and Morton Midwest Food Bank locations.

The Oak Ridge Sportsman's Club in Mackinaw, IL was the perfect venue for novice and expert shooters alike. A little friendly competition, an impressive gun raffle, and a delicious Chick-fil-A lunch rounded out a fun event.

This event was only made possible withthe sponsor support, the work of amazing volunteers and the wonderful people who signed up for the event. Over 99¢ of every dollar raised will go to programs and services to help those in need. On their behalf, Midwest Food Bank offers our sincere thanks.
