Executive Director, Marcie Luhigo, Midwest Food Bank, Indiana is proud to announce Lisa A. Patton Patton and M. Paige Oliver have joined the Indiana Advisory Board.
Lisa A. Patton is the Senior Corporate Relations Manager for the American Cancer Society of Indiana where she engages the corporate community to support the efforts in raising funds and awareness for those affected by cancer. Lisa is a native Hoosier and graduated from Ball State University. Her career has allowed her to expand across several industries, but nonprofit work has been where she has found her niche. She is a 25-year member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc and is very active in her community. Lisa has one daughter named Taylor who is currently pursuing her MBA from Clark Atlanta University. Lisa shared, "God is still writing your story. Don't let go of your faith because of what you have yet to see."
M. Paige Oliver is the Seed Product Development Network and Systems Global Leader for Corteva Agriscience™. Paige has been with the company for over 22 years in multiple roles across R&D, including a few years in a Human Resources role. She led business scientists in the United States, greater China and as the APAC Integrated Field Science Leader based out of Singapore. Paige is a passionate advocate for engaging employees and leading efforts to support food security in local communities. Paige initiated food security efforts, supported by Corteva, during her time in China and expanded to APAC while in her regional role. Currently, she is the Indianapolis Global Headquarters Food Security Network Lead and is excited to be on the Midwest Food Bank Indiana Advisory Board. According to Paige, "Norman Borlaug said it well, 'Food is the moral right of all who are born into this world.' This statement has been a beacon to me personally. When I see farmers from around the world and our local communities that are food insecure, I cannot stand by and ask others to act, I roll up my sleeves and join to help serve."
