The COVID crisis has created an increase in amount of food needed by our partner agencies. MFB Indiana has been able to provide this additional food with the help of generous donors and dedicated volunteers.
This additional distribution has taxed our already tight operation. After learning of our need for space, long-time Midwest Food Bank supporter, Steve Kopetsky generously offered 24,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space. It's conveniently located minutes away.
Through ongoing talks with the generous Kopetsky family, MFB Indiana has been able to lease an additional 18,000 sq. ft. of space at a very reasonable cost. This doubles our current capacity and provides five additional dock doors and trailer storage. As a result, many food insecure Hoosiers are receiving help during a troubling time.
We are thankful for families and individuals who realize they can be the conduit God uses to provide unconditional love and hope to their neighbors.
