From manufacturing to healthcare to Midwest Food Bank, Temple Roe has a professional path that will be an asset to MFB. She joined the MFB staff as Human Resources Director this fall.
"I'm thrilled to have found my way into a non-profit that provides to so many families and communities in need," says Temple.
As the HR Director for Midwest Food Bank, Temple will provide direction and oversight to the MFB systems and practices, from recruiting, onboarding, and training to benefits and payroll. She will develop and maintain the Midwest Food Bank policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and alignment with MFB values.
In her free time, Temple likes to travel overseas and across the U.S. She also enjoys participating in sports - especially volleyball and basketball. Her home life in Metamora includes two teenagers, a couple of dogs, and a cat.
"Temple's steady, confident approach, along with her kind demeanor, make her a great fit for the culture at MFB," says Jada Hoerr, chief resource officer.
