MFB Georgia is pleased and thankful to announce the addition of two new advisory board members. They are Benita Chinn and Efram Clark.
Benita was the 2019 woman of the Year as one of Atlanta's 100 Most Powerful and Influential Women. She has a bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech in Engineering Technology and Education and an MBA from the University of Chicago. Benita is the Senior Director of Manufacturing Capability and Transformation for Pepsico. Previous employers include Nestle USA and Quaker Oats. She serves on the board of several groups, including Leadership Women America and South Fulton County Chamber of Commerce.
"I am excited to join the Midwest Food Bank board allowing this little light of mine to so shine," says Benita. "Isaiah 58:10 says, 'If you give some of your food to feed the hungry and satisfy those who are humble, then your light will rise in the dark and your darkness will shine brighter than the noon day sun.'"
Efram has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Jacksonville State University. He is a retired Territory Sales Manager for MillerCoors LLC. He was previously employed by Miller Brewing Company.
"It is an honor for me to serve on the Advisory Board of Midwest Food Bank," says Efram. "I am looking forward to working with the Georgia Division to ensure we are serving the many people in need while feeding them spiritually."
"I am thrilled to welcome Ms. Benita Chinn and Mr. Efram Clark to our Advisory Board, says Pat Burke, MFB Georgia Executive Director. "Their talents, leadership, and passion for serving will add an important perspective to our operation."
