Volunteers are essential in our ability to provide services to our partner agencies. Midwest Food Bank Florida was made aware of that in a very real way in November. When we were short staffed, several volunteers stepped in to make sure our day-to-day operations continued to run smoothly. They opened the warehouse, managed the regular load-out of items to organizations, covered the phone calls, unloaded trucks and organized volunteers.
At the risk of leaving someone out, we would especially like to recognize the following: Kathy Andersen, Al Chilson, Deb Dahlke, Charlie Flahive, Mary Hohulin, Randy Kieser, Doris Kingman, Dick Rieger, and Ken Wuthrich. This faithful army of people allowed us to continue to focus on serving our agencies with the high level of service we want to provide. Thank you all for going above and beyond! MFB Florida is truly blessed to have such a giving group of volunteers!
